TECAR Therapy

What Are the Benefits of TECAR Therapy and How Does It Work?

Winback, TECAR therapy will be integrated into your existing treatment plan. The adaptability of the TECAR electrodes allows us to seamlessly combine this advanced technology with the expert manual therapy and tailored exercises you will get during your treatment. Importantly, there is no additional cost for the use of TECAR within your physiotherapy session.

Patients describe TECAR therapy as a deeply soothing experience, with a gentle, warming sensation that can last for several hours post-treatment. This prolonged effect contributes to sustained pain relief and improved mobility.

What can Winback treat?

Winback TECAR therapy is used for many injuries, traumatic injuries or post-operative injuries.

Winback technology can be used from day one. By stimulating the circulatory system, reducing pain and increasing cellular metabolism exchange, the use of Winback TECAR therapy optimises healing through every phase.

Benefits of Winback Therapy:

  • Accelerated Healing: TECAR stimulates cellular metabolism, promoting faster tissue repair and regeneration.
  • Collagen Formation: It encourages the production of collagen, essential for repairing tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissues.
  • Increased Blood Flow: By enhancing microcirculation, TECAR delivers vital oxygen and nutrients to injured areas, reducing inflammation and optimising function.
  • Rapid Pain Reduction: The deep heating effect of TECAR helps to alleviate pain quickly and effectively while also improving tissue elasticity.
  • Muscle Spasm Relief: It relaxes tight muscles and reduces spasms, restoring normal muscle function.

What is Winback?

It is a cutting-edge treatment which accelerates your recovery and improves your well-being using Radiofrequency.

It is a non-invasive and painless, Winback technology uses a high-frequency electric current that acts from inside the body. It improves the biological (self-repair of the organism), analgesic and diathermic effects of tissues along the path between the two electrodes.

How does it help?

TECAR high-frequency current enables membrane depolarization, resulting in increased intra- and extra-cellular exchanges. It targets all tissues and offers three key therapeutic effects in combination:

  • Analgesic: through saturation of nociceptors and inhibition of transmission
  • Diathermic: delivers endogenous heat and tissue vascularization
  • Biological: stimulates cellular metabolism

This speeds up patient rehabilitation. It is extremely versatile, TECAR therapy is equally well-suited to acute and chronic pathologies involving ligaments, tendons, and muscles...

  • Post-traumatic injuries such as sprains, strains and spinal injuries
  • Post-operative management for pain and mobility in conditions such as spinal fusion/decompression, joint replacements and fracture repairs.
  • Inflammatory pathologies
  • Local or radiating pain

The effects of TECAR therapy have been recognized by thousands of patients. Over 15,000 centres have adopted this technology in recent years. It is widely used in the treatment of numerous pathologies.

Contraindications (WHO CANNOT USE WINBACK)
