Frequently Asked Questions

Where did you study and gain your experience?

I qualified BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at WITS University, South Africa. Since qualifying, I have gained a wide variety of physiotherapy experience before specialising in outpatients/ Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries in both SA and the UK. I gained various sports exposure through working at events such as the Comrades Marathon, assisting recovery at Lions (Super Rugby) team as well as physio for men’s WITS 1st Team Hockey during their tournament victory at University Sports South Africa (USSA).

What is your favorite type of patient?

I have a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation as well as pilates (BASI certified). I am accredited in acupuncture as well as dry needling. I love seeing all ages of patients from 6 up to 95 years of age. My favourite type of patient is a patient wanting to see results and willing to have their boundaries pushed!

What is your style of practice?

I believe in creating a positive environment for my patients, ensuring all support is given to complete their rehab journey from acute stages right through to outperforming their pre-injury status.

What will we find you doing outside of the clinic?

Hopefully fulfilling my travel bug! With a history of playing rugby and powerlifting, I am more recently pushing into the triathlon scene. In Henley, I feel that I have the best playground to do so!
